After a several years long absence from the internet at large — due to licensing issues — Legitimate Businessman Entertainment’s very own Dangerous Idiots has resurfaced on the world wide web, re-releasing a beautiful-sounding, remastered edition of their critically lauded first record, DANGEROUS IDIOTS. The 2011 release was beloved by the British blogosphere upon its initial release, in part due to the popularity of the debut single and video “Can I Get A Role Model.”
Dangerous Idiots 10th Anniversary Remastered Edition, which celebrates the year in which all its songs were composed, was remastered by Chris O’Brien at Butterfield Studios in Dublin, Ireland, and features two previously unreleased tracks, one of which was an original demo from 2008 that spurned the following glowing review from The Arkansas Times:
“Towncraft-era Little Rockers, take note. Alumni from two heavyweights from those days — Trusty (local punk royalty) and Techno Squid Eats Parliament — have new, or at least new-ish, projects. Debuting live on Friday, Dangerous Idiots brings together TSEP veterans Aaron Sarlo (lead vocals, guitar) and Shayne Gray (drums) with Trusty's Paul Bowling (bass and vocals). If all their songs are as good as “Less for You,” a strange and sinister pop burner they had up on MySpace earlier in the week, this is going to be a band people talk about.” [link]
